In summer of this year Anja Schneider left her home at mobilee, the label she had co-founded 12 years ago, in order to expand her creative horizons and launch a new project called Sous Music.
SoMe is the first release on the new label, and sees the producer and DJ draw inspiration from the wide array of sounds available across the electronic music spectrum for her first solo album in 9 years. The result is a personal and liberating work of art, the outcome of a career reset that has taken her out of her comfort zone and into a new freewheeling context both musically and personally.
Acid Castello is an Italian trio made by electronic music specialists devoted to acid and electro, born in 2014 under suspicious circumstances: Marcio McFly (Cani Giganti, Spectacular Synthesizer), Bhonz (F-Ring, Techno Soldiers) and Endo (Techno Soldiers). Their live performances are constructed around acid house melodies and the atmospheres of the 80-es science fiction moviesâ soundtracks.
From 2015, Acid Castello has been managing the “Acid Film Festivalâ in Milan, where electro-acid live performances are created and improvised during cult-movies shows. In 2014 AC releases their first EP on the Sardinian âSomewhere Recordâ.
Much like similar partnerships a lĂĄ Italojohnson or Paranoid London, Acid Castello generally swerve the limelight, preferring instead to let their music speak for them. Filled to the brim with enticing dance floor focused tracks, this debut album does so in particularly tantalizing and emphatic fashion.
This is apparent from the get go with their upcoming debut LP, the exceptional Woman 5000 scheduled for release on September 28th via 51 Beats. âOn Destinyâs Wingsâ gives us the first glimpse of the trioâs soundtrack inspirations. A track that would easily fit in to the Stranger Things soundtrack, it sets the albumâs stall out in an an auspicious manner. âHer Thingsâ is clearly indebted to Juan Atkins et al, with electro another concurrent theme that runs throughout the release. âCoconut Galaxyâ leans toward similar sound tropes, before the title track really ups the sci-fi vibes.

An Iceberg is a large mass of ice detached from a glacier or from a floating platform of glaciers that drift in the sea. It  is in constant motion and most of its mass remains submerged under surface of the water. The goal of this new Iceberg series of releases on Glacial Movements is to describe through techno / dub music this huge mass of ice.
Himuro is the debut album of ambient duo Eraldo Bernocchi and Netherworld. Composed and produced in two years of exchanging material and sound inputs coming both from electronic treated guitars and organic sources.  The album lies its foundation on ambient, dub, space and distance.
