Constellations: Andromeda – Compiled and Mixed by Trovarsi & Shaun Cruda is the second episode in SLC-6 Music‘s Constellations mix compilation series. The label has turned to Los Angeles-based artists Trovarsi and Shaun Cruda to weave a musical tale mixing exclusively SLC-6 tracks. Their continuous mix is comprised of many of their own originals and remixes, including three new tracks produced specifically for this release. Each with their own individual sound and flourishing solo careers, they produce and perform in tandem as well, synthesizing into a sound that is a blend of both their personalities.
Portuguese producer Insical debuts on Minimal Sessions this May with four heavy techno cuts including a remix from Stephen Disario.
Commitment Issues is three-track EP on Akela Recordings featuring two different versions of an original track by label boss Annika Wolfe and a remix by Trovarsi. Both artists are based in the Los Angeles area and are regulars contributors to its bustling techno and underground scene.

Techno producer Modus’ new label, Operandi, has recently launched and with it welcomes a delicious dark techno compilation. Born Joshua Garcia, the Los Angeles-native artist and now label head wasn’t always about the synthesizers, hi-hats or drum machines. Coincidentally enough, “Drum Machine Love,” aptly named, is his featured track on the label’s debut compilation. Before going down the electronic rabbit hold, Josh admits he was more into rock, emo and underground hip-hop. However, that all changed at the ripe age of 20 that all changed. After attending his first rave, he knew it was love at first sound. The rest, as they say, is history.
