This is his first release since his debut album Embers dropped on Radio Slave’s Rekids imprint last November, following a strong debut on the Berlin label with Afra EP.  The heavy affiliation with the label continued recently as Hybrasil found himself joining the imprint for his debut at, Panorama Bar. Yet, as the years have passed by and electronic music’s popularity has soared, DJs have found a way to be a part of these arenas, gaining the following, respect and attention that other major bands and artist have been receiving for decades.

As the electronic music scene has grown, millions of music fans around the world have taken to local nightclubs, festivals and arenas to listen to their favorite DJs. If you are a newcomer to the electronic music dance scene, however, it is possible that there are some terms used around which may be confusing to you, such as when flyers have the words “Live Set” or “DJ Set” next to an artist’s name. On Saturday, 4th of June 2016, Robert Hood played a specially curated hip-hop set as Floorplan for the crowd at Weather Festival in Paris.

The live recording, which contains music from Nas, Gangstarr, Mobb Deep, Wu Tang Clan and many others, has been made available by the Detroit artist via his SoundCloud.

Time Warp USA Releases Ricardo Villalobos Live Set Recording

Time Warp US did every techno and house music fan a favor this past November by finally bringing Ricardo Villalobos back to this side of the pond for a three-hour set in Brooklyn that was the talk of many for weeks after.

Then, the German festival teased fans when it hinted on social media that a recording of the set would follow. Now it’s finally here, originally released exclusively on RecMix.
