It is hard to imagine some of our favorite DJs before they were headlining the main stages at festivals around the world. But they, like all of us, had to work hard and get to where they are. So what did some of these DJs look like before they made the big jump to touring the world? Let’s take a look.
Italian DJ and producer Mirko Di Florio was born to party, and his latest track “Bla Bla Bla” is the perfect party track for the summer. Over the past year, he has seen support from big names in the scene including Lee Foss and John Summit. 6AM recently caught up with Mirko to discuss his new track as well as what he has been up to over the last year.
Chicago’s Paradigm Presents and Collaboraction Theater present the second annual One City Fundraiser for Peace, Sunday, August 13, 2017, at Space Stage Studios, 1844 W. Hubbard St. from noon until 10 p.m.
This all-day, indoor/outdoor event serves as the official launch party for Collaboractionâs upcoming PEACEBOOK Festival, and features over 50 performers, artists and speakers on two stages, bridging the power of music and art to support and raise awareness of Collaboractionâs major new peace initiative. Headliners include internationally revered producer/deejays Lee Foss, Martin Buttrich, and DJ Lady D among others.
For one, I think I should be the poster child for Hard’s “We go HARD” campaign. Hard Day of the Dead 2015 wasn’t just two days of dancing at a festival, it was complete and utter nonsensical raging to banging electronic music across the board. Jamie Jones and Lee Foss are embarking on another new project with the launch of their new label, Emerald City. Over the years weâve seen their success with Hot Creations and Hot Trax, so itâll be interesting to see their new vision unfold with Emerald City.
Emerald City will see itâs first release from Serge Devant and Damiano a month from today on April 6th. The release will play host to Fearing Love, a track from Serge and Damiano, with featured vocals from Camille Safiya and a remix from Jamie Jones and Lee Foss. No official previews have been released, but needless to say our curiosity is heightened with the announcement of their new label.
Lee Foss is no stranger to Sound Nightclub. Tonight, he will be spreading a tremendous amount of musical love to the dance floor along with Luca Cazal and Lauren Lane. How appropriate with it being Valentines Day weekend.
