Making moves on Kwench Records, Cassy’s club-steady record label, is New York-based DJ and producer Tommy Bones, and he brings in renowned US vocalist and regular collaborator Lydia Rhodes who’s known for a string of seminal club anthems through the ‘90s and early ‘00s.
Slamming in for exposure via Cassy’s commanding imprint Kwench Records is venerated DJ, producer and label chief Alex Arnout with a vitalising two-track EP titled Afrofuturism.
Having been a respected fixture in London’s underground culture across the last two decades, Arnout is considered a champion of the British scene, with his committed Dogmatik Records releasing EPs from Mark E, Reset Robot, Dyed Soundorom, Dan Ghenacia and Tom Demac, and launching the careers of esteemed artists Maya Jane Coles, Peace Division, Dusky and many more. His career has also seen him create a stir in other corners of the globe, predominantly Spain with successful residencies in Barcelona and Ibiza.
