Known to many for her energy driven productions on the likes of Suara, Material and her own Kittball imprint, Juliet Sikora’s work and effort within the studio certainly hasn’t gone unnoticed by those within the world of house.

Following her first release on Opaque Music alongside German duo Tube & Berger, a longstanding relationship both in and out of the studio with the pair led to a string of notable releases including their Beatport topping 2013 collaboration ‘Come On Now (Set It Off)’, which was later picked up by Pete Tong’s FFRR imprint, coupled with a highly successful and ever-expanding record label.

Digging Deeper with Tube & Berger

After two recent stellar Canadian performances in Toronto and London, Germany’s much-loved DJ/producer duo Tube & Berger continued their 9-date North America tour by completing two shows during Miami Music Week.

These shows saw the talented Germans join Toolroom Records kingpin Mark Knight at Miami’s Heart Nightclub on March 22nd plus host their very own Kittball Records yacht party (alongside label partner Juliet Sikora) on March 23rd, before touching down for additional appearances in Los Angeles, Ottawa, Winnipeg, San Francisco and Portland, where the tour will conclude, on April 7th.

Throughout the tour the dynamic duo has been spinning their unique blend of underground house music across the US and Canada, showcasing recent Heulsuse and Kittball releases plus giving fans a preview of forthcoming unreleased material slated for Toolroom alongside exclusive remixes of their acclaimed 2017 sophomore LP, We Are All Stars, which will be out later this year.

We caught up with the duo in the middle of a very busy Miami Music Week.

The industry has got a new appetite for some Sushi; Fat Sushi that is – the duo artist based in Switzerland have been making significant waves in the past few years choppin’ and dicin’ releases from top notch labels such as Suara, OFF, Hive Audio, Kittball, and Stil Vor Talent with upcoming remix duties for Berlin’s Nils Hoffmann on Wankelmut’s Poesie Musik. Their deep-hypnotic house and chunky techno sound is gaining support from the likes of Marco Carola, Nicole Moudaber, Maya Jane Coles, Oliver Koletzki, Roger Sanchez, Andhim, Coyu, Eats Everything, Reboot and more.  Fat Sushi is making their U.S. debut in San Francisco at Monarch this Thursday.
