Julius Jung Releases “Esel EP” on Shadow Wulf

From the curious and creative mind of upcoming producer Julius Jung comes “Esel” [EP]. Julius has some fun with this release, proving that techno doesn’t have to be so serious all the time. In this effort, he chose somewhat quirky / goofy track titles to describe sounds present in each composition. The first track “Der rĂŒlpsende Esel” translates to something like “the burping donkey” – an effort to jokingly describe the synth effects in the break of the track, which a friend of his noted sounded like a burping donkey. Julius decided to continue with this concept, and one night when he was woken up by a mosquito in his ear, he came up with the idea for the second track – “Die muckende MĂŒcke”, which translates to something like, “the rebellious mosquito”. In this second track, Julius sampled and processed a mosquito flyby sound as the lead synth. A mosquito presents again in the background FX panning from left to right throughout the groove, which never lets up its entertaining body-moving grip. Read more
