Love Amplified takes over Ibiza’s Benimussa Park with Heidi, Dusky, D’Julz, Josh Butler and More

On July 26th, the UK-based promoters behind Love Amplified will be bringing their brand to Ibiza for their first ever headline event.

Digging Deeper with Mar-T

Mar-T is Amnesia Ibiza‘s longest serving resident DJ. The Ibiza icon is behind curating Amnesia’s new Monday night event series, Pyramid, which boasts the promises of seeing the return of ‘old Ibiza vibes’ and to ‘bring back the best’ of Ibiza from the island’s illustrious history.

The producer/DJ and event curator has forthcoming Ibiza dates at Pyramid on 13th August and 3rd Sept, as well as Together at Amnesia on the 31st July.

His Barcelona/Ibiza-based record label WOW! Recordings recently hit its landmark 100th release with an EP from Mar-T himself featuring remixes from Detlef and Stacey Pullen. Mar-T’s It’s 100 EP is available exclusively via Beatport as of July 20th and everywhere else two weeks later. But that’s not all, with other releases planned on famed Spanish labels elrow and Roush.

Q&A: Ben Hoo Readies to Release Get Physical Ibiza Compilation

2018 has been kind to Ben Hoo, but that’s only because of all the work he has put in the studio in recent years.

The producer is currently preparing to release his second Get Physical Ibiza compilation which features two original productions and two remixes from the dynamic artist. Other artists featured on the mix includes Nicole Moudaber, Enzo Leep and Reboot. Ben has previously released on Josh Wink’s Ovum imprint as well as Get Physical’s sub-label Kindisch, as well as remixed for the likes of Moby, Tiga and Booka Shade.

What all this says is simple: Ben Hoo doesn’t sit firmly inside any genre box. If there has been a theme running throughout London producer and multi-instrumentalist Ben Hoo’s career to date, it’s that he’s never wedded himself to a single style. Techno and house inform his recorded music as much as down-tempo and contemporary classical. Ben is drawn towards sound manipulation and design. His approach is steeped in audio reconfiguration, which he offsets by creating his own rich synthetic tones.

Ibiza Residents Protest Against “Disrespectful and Excessive” Tourism

Ibiza may be drawing tourists for years now thanks to its beaches and the vibrant club and nightlife atmosphere, but not everyone has been happy about it.

Recently, this disapproving opinion made itself more pronounced as over 500 people gathered at Ibiza’s main town square Vera del Rey to voice their concerns, to say the least, on the impact of “unlimited, disrespectful and excessive” tourism on the island.

Tale of Us Bring Techno and Afterlife to HĂŻ Ibiza This Summer

World-renowned DJ and production duo Tale Of Us have revealed their 2018 Ibiza plans. For this, they will take residency and also bring their acclaimed party series Afterlife to the duo’s old Ibiza base now known as HĂŻ Ibiza.

The residency will be taking over both rooms of the club, with music and production concepts designed for each space, with visuals, bespoke lighting, installations and tailor-made production. This is in line with Tale Of Us’ increasing interest in the wider spectrum of the arts.

Paris Hilton’s Amnesia Ibiza Residency Is Over

Usually when a DJ ends their residency at a club there is a feeling of sadness among the club’s patrons, and especially so if the DJ has shown to have the charisma and the talent to draw the crowd whenever they perform. However, this particular farewell at an Ibiza club is somewhat “different”, to say the least.

This is not surprising, considering the DJ in question is Paris Hilton.
