Szmer is an alias of Michał Aleksiewicz that came into light by the end of 2019, but he has been active in the techno world since 2011 and since that time he took part in many events in both Poland and Worldwide (including Tresor and Suicide Circus in Berlin as The Effaith). He published many records under three aliases in the span of many years. Szmer’s tracks were released by record labels such as Dynamic Reflection, Truncate, Symbolism, Out of Place, R3volution or Prophet Recordings. Artists that inspire him the most are Planetary Assault Systems, Jeroen Search or Sterac aka Steve Rachmad. Read more

German producer mexCalito, releases Director’s Cut EP for Shadow Wulf Records’ sixteenth release. Mex has been focused in the studio creating constantly and rapidly maturing his mixing and mastering skills under the mentorship of fellow collaborator Dubs. Mex’s tracks are being released by some of the world’s best underground techno labels. His sound is characterized by hypnotic rolling basses and experimental rhythms and effects, a cross between Techno, Zenon, Minimal and a kind of haunting psychedelic groove. Drunken Kong Is Ready For Any Dance Floor, Anywhere

Drunken Kong is the project of D. Singh from Tokyo, Japan that started in 2010. He has had multiple releases on such well known labels as Tronic, Octopus Recordings, Stil Vor Talent, and Terminal M. In addition to having multiple tracks charted in the top Beatport Charts, Drunken Kong has had prolific international presence with a residency at Eden Ibiza, played for Tronic vs. Terminal M showcase during ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event) and played Tronic Showcase during Sonar Offweek. Drunken Kong has also always been active in the Japanese techno scene, playing regularly at major festivals such as Ultra Japan and in clubs such as WOMB, Ageha, Unit, Vent, Contact and Vision Tokyo. Drunken Kong joins 6AM as he does his first international tour since the pandemic.

Holden Federico’s first SK_X release has been one worth waiting for. The New Yorker blends a mix of hard brutal percussive drive and powerful kick drums with his beautifully written melodies which stem from his background in classical music. Throughout the EP Holden’s musical background is ever dominant–vibrant synth lines provide a sense of body and feeling in the music, while straight techno rhythms keep the dance floor happy and the feet moving. His track “This Is Who You Are” maintains this energy but with a deep hypnotic feel.
