A prolific producer and DJ, Antonio has released on esteemed techno imprints such as Gynoid, Affin, Dynamic Reflection and Childen of Tomorrow, amongst others. Eclectic, curious and constantly evolving, De Angelisâ style transmits passion, adrenaline, dreams and emotions, captivating listeners with every release.
For Global Vibe Radio’s 157th edition we call on the skills of Drumcode Records artist Boxia, who will be releasing his debut LP A Night In The Life Of on Drumcode on the 3rd June, 2019.
An artist whose outlook is heavily influenced by years spent on the dancefloors of clubs across the UK and overseas, Boxiaâs multi-faceted approach to music allows him to channel his creativity through a number of styles, maintaining a playful, inventive and often experimental output. Releases with Drumcode and appearances at influential clubs and festivals all over the world have put Boxia at the top of his game.
This week’s Global Vibe Radio guest is Devotion and AudioCode Records boss Fernanda Martins.
The Brazilian artist is known for her track selection and infectious mixing skills, both of which have garnered her performances throughout South America and Europe and with good reason.
We sat down with Fernanda for an in-depth interview to talk about her home in Bercelona, her relationship with Devotion partner Lucas Freire and what is coming up in her world as we continue through 2019.

For this week’s Global Vibe Radio episode we look no further than one of our own nights here in LA dated January 5th, 2019, when we hosted I Hate Models, JGarrett and Tap Newo.
JGarrett is the primary music project from Vancouver-based musician and producer Josh Garrett. A native of Ann Arbor, MI, Josh came to Techno and House within the shadow of Detroit and with direct involvement in the Detroit Techno and rave communities of the â90s. In 2000, Josh relocated to Vancouver and over the years has become an integral member of the Vancouver Techno scene, from running the well-respected label Subspec Music as well as a key member of the Proper Event Productions crew.
This week’s Global Vibe Radio episode comes from Ric McClelland aka Montel aka MNTL, an artist who has been releasing music under a range of aliases for over 10 years now.
However, his releases as Montel surfaced around late 2012 and were a product of the resurgence of the vinyl DJing scene. Focusing on a retrospective House sound, his tracks received immediate support from the likes of Bicep, Waze & Odyssey, Jacques Renault and many others. As time moved on, so did Ricâs sound as Montel. Inline with his long standing residency at Belfastâs Misfit party, his musical output and DJ sets moved to a tougher House sound with elements of Techno. Around this time he began to pick up plaudits from a wider range of DJs, from John Digweed to Hot Since 82, from Adam Beyer to Anja Schneider, from Skream to Richy Ahmed. His music then started to feature heavily on BBC Radio 1 and his rise to prominence became meteoric. DJ dates around the UK progressed to Europe and then onto a global scale.
This week’s Global Vibe Radio episode is truly a global one, as we welcome French producer, DJ, live artist, label owner and promoter Antoine Husson aka Electric Rescue to the 6AM family.
Antoine is as prolific as they come in the studio, his catalogue spanning various aliases and featuring releases on labels such as Affin, Cocoon, Bedrock, Sci+Tec, Sleaze Records, Soma Records and many more. You’ll notice the variety of soundscapes these labels highlight, which further goes to underscore Antoine’s versatility both in the studio and in front of a live audience.
His latest work comes in the form of the launch of Obverse Records, a new techno-focused imprint which debuted with his very own First Obverse EP, out February 1st of this year and featuring remixes by Ă [Phase] and Stanislav Tolkachev.

Fortunate to grow up around the rich club culture of NYC and influenced by the sounds around him, Avision now finds himself helping to usher in a new wave of techno for the New York scene. Over the last year, heâs had releases on a range of influential labels like Alan Fitzpatrickâs We Are The Brave, Ben Simsâ Hardgroove & Machine, Pan Potâs Second State, Mark Broomâs Beardman Records, Carl Coxâs Intec, Cassyâs Kwench Records, Victor Calderoneâs Matter+, On Edge Society, and Inmotion LTD.
Avision started young on the turntables at age 12, and his preference for a more mature sound lead to his first residency in New Jersey by the time he was 15. Recent touring highlights include gigs at The Brooklyn Mirage, Output, Flash Factory, Schimanski and the Mixmag Lab in NYC, Stereo in Montreal, Nest in Toronto, Space & Heart in Miami, as well as festivals like Amsterdam Dance Event, Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas and Electric Zoo. Avisionâs legacy is growing through club land like a supernova exploding in the farthest reaches of our galaxyâŠand heâs just getting started.

After releasing records on L.I.E.S, Jealous God, Semantica and his own label project Summa Cum Laude to name a few, Domenico Crisci quickly rose to prominence among purveyors of timeless techno. One of his earlier records on Jealous God cemented his reputation as a careful engineer of effective, hard, crafty dance floor cuts that comfortably sit next to early works of the genreâs pioneers.
