We travel to Asia for this week’s episode of Global Vibe Radio, showcasing Hong Kong based techno producer and DJ Romi.
We travel to Asia for this week’s episode of Global Vibe Radio, showcasing Hong Kong based techno producer and DJ Romi.
Defining house and disco with pure advocacy, Husky holds acclaim in his craft, eliminating electronic music boundaries from signature originals to collaborative efforts with Sandy Rivera. Straight out of the studio, Sydneyâs well-accomplished producer and DJ serve an emotive dish of soulful, deep and core house hues while also delving into deeper lounge and disco sounds.
We welcome NYC-based Alan Nieves to the Global Vibe Radio decks for this 120th edition of our weekly mix series.
Nieves is one of the rising stars of the House music scene with his signature blend of swung grooves and driving tech sounds. His music has been sought after on the worldâs biggest imprints with over 30 releases charting in the Beatport/Tracksource Top 100 and 6 inside the Top 10.

In this week’s episode of Global Vibe Radio we invite Washington D.C. based producer, DJ and label-head Zenbi with a one-hour guest mix featuring tracks by RebĆ«ke, Dario DâAttis and Zenbi himself, amongst others.
Raised in Philadelphia and based in Washington D.C., Zenbi has found a second home in Brooklyn acting as a partner in Soup NYC. With newly-minted residencies at several of the hottest dance clubs in the world and a string of chart topping releases on some of dance music’s most prestigious labels including Suara, Great Stuff, Hotfingers, 303 Lovers, Pacha, Stereo, Skint, InStereo Recordings, and Twisted among others, Zenbi continues to work hard to refine and perfect his soulful, tribal-infused sound.
From the studio, Zenbi’s productions have been successfully featured on over 100 releases – receiving massive support from an ever-increasing list of talented producers. As a DJ, Zenbi tries to maintain a consistency to his sets that matches his production work, by combining a variety of influences and styles – deep, soulful, gritty, and a quality he describes unabashedly as ‘chuggy’
Enjoy our interview with Zenbi below and read-on for the GVR Track List!

For this week’s Global Vibe Radio episode we welcome Rinzen, one of the most exciting new talents to emerge out of the United States.
Signed to mau5trap, Rinzen combines cinematic sound design with forward-thinking house and techno production to create something that is downright awe-inspiring.

After a short break, we come back to the Global Vibe Radio Series with a special guest mix by Modern Cathedrals boss Altstadt Echo.
n the last three years, Altstadt Echo has accomplished what most up-and-coming artists only talk about: a handful of vinyl releases, multiple festival performances, and the curation of an event series that has become a fixture of local underground culture. His musical signature combines the lamenting atmospheres of Detroit’s deeper techno styles with the forward-thinking and textural percussion synonymous with UK artists of the past decade.
Drawing from sources of inspiration ranging from minimalist sculpture to Absurdist literature, Altstadt Echo imbues his music with a sense of somber reflection on the lack of inherent meaning behind contemporary life. He’s been remixed by electronic music leaders across the world – from Terrence Dixon and Erika in Detroit to Abdulla Rashim and Varg in Europe.
He’s been called “Detroit techno’s new guard” by Resident Advisor, “the avant-garde element to Detroit Techno” by SPIN Magazine, and “one of Detroit’s fastest rising electronic music names” by the Detroit Free Press. His tracks have been featured on Regis mixtapes, written-up by Resident Advisor, and sold out at Hardwax.
Enjoy the mix below.

It’s Movement Detroit weekend, so we found it fitting to invite one of this year’s performing artists to the Global Vibe Radio decks.
Christian Smith is one of the worldâs leading exponents of techno, as a DJ, a producer and founder of the well-respected Tronic label. You can catch him playing at the festival this coming Saturday. May 26th, when he will be performing at the Pyramid Stage at 7:30pm.
Tronic needs no introduction for those who have followed dance music for the last 20 or so years. Since its inception back in 1994, Christian Smith has founded a label that constantly delivers top techno tracks year after year. Not only does he run the label, but also has his long-standing Tronic radio show, which is syndicated in more than over 100 countries worldwide.
Known and loved for its albums, Tronic released the very first of its kind with a collaboration-only project in 2017 entitled Synergy. This June the label will be releasing a full Synergy remix package to the world including re-works by Shall Ocin, Petter B, Oliver Deutschmann and more — a release filled with their heavy hitting, synthetic soundscapes and intricate percussive elements.
Be on the lookout for more info on this upcoming release, but meantime enjoy Christian’s mix below, which was recorded live this past April at Resest Club in Zaragoza, Spain.
