FUSE10: A Diary Of Fuse’s 10 Year Celebration Tour in the UK

FUSE is ever evolving. Following an amazing leg of sold-out FUSE10 shows in the UK that celebrated 10 years of the brand, they head stateside to kick off the 2019 international tour where founder Enzo Siragusa will be joined by two of the collective’s core members, Archie Hamilton and Seb Zito.

Evolution has been a key player to FUSE’s success. In 2008 they sprung into the heart of London’s minimal scene as a breath of fresh air throwing pivotal weekly parties every Sunday. 10 years on, they have grown to be one of the capital’s most prominent party brands and labels and are recognized and celebrated across the UK and Europe for delivering outstanding events wherever they choose the challenge. They have championed residencies in Ibiza at Sankeys, Space and Amnesia, alongside annual events at ADE, Off Week and Sonus Festival. Now is the time to level up even further by kicking off their global 2019 FUSE10 tour in the United States.

ā€œThe 10 years of FUSE tour in the UK has been incredibly humbling and special. Witnessing the love for our party and sound and how far we have come has further fueled my inspiration to take FUSE into the next 10 years. Wherever we go we deliver stand out events with an undeniable vibe that has become synonymous with FUSE and I know we will transmit it to the clubs we have carefully chosen to make our US debutā€. – Enzo Siragusa

We asked the Fuse team that toured the UK to keep a diary of their gigs through November and December of 2018, which they have now shared exclusively for 6AM readers. A celebration of 10 years of FUSE in three UK cities, and the start of their FUSE10 global tour, featuring the five core residents: Enzo Siragusa, Seb Zito, Rich NxT, Archie Hamilton and Rossko.

The Rise of Enzo Siragusa and Fuse London

It’s been 8 years since Enzo Siragusa founded Fuse, a London-based event series and record label that has now carved itself a firm spot inĀ the worldwide techno and house movement.

His love with electronic music began much earlier than that when, twenty-years ago, Enzo began DJing for the first time. What followed was years of hard work, Ā and anĀ organic approach and dedication to his craft that ultimately laid solid foundations for himself and Fuse to now be reaching the global status they find themselves in.

2016 was possibly his biggest:Ā Fuse was voted best UK club night in the DJ Mag best of British and the event series secured a 5-date residency at the iconic Amnesia Ibiza, Enzo himself shot up 26 places in the RA Poll to number 36, he was voted one of Mixmag’s stars of the year and, to top it off, he made his debut Essential Mix on Pete Tong’s famed BBC Radio 1 show.

We are not halfway through 2017 yet and the momentum continues for Enzo and Fuse. FUSE London was nominated as one of Mixmag’s ā€˜Label of the Decade’ and the FUSE London events just announced their second year residency at Amnesia Ibiza this summer as part of a collaboration with HYTE.

6AM caught up with a busy Enzo as he readies to get on the road for a North American tour that will see him visit Miami, NYC, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Toronto, in Canada.

Wednesday nights at Amnesia Ibiza have been Hyte territory since last summer, when the techno-centered residency first landed on the island with bang. While in 2015 the residency was spearheaded by Loco Dice and Maceo Plex, this year the latter has left andĀ launchedĀ his own debut Mosaic residency at Pacha Ibiza. Loco Dice will continue to head Hyte with appearances at all except three nights throughout the entire summer.

The 16-week party series will begin on June 1st with a pre-opening party before officially starting on June 29th and ending on October 5th. The roster of talent is deep, with a total of 42Ā artists set to perform. Others regularly playing the Wednesday night party includeĀ Chris Liebing (12 nights), Pan-PotĀ (11 nights)Ā andĀ Enzo SiragusaĀ who is bringing his Fuse imprint to the Club room on four nights throughout the residency.

Some of the most illustrious guests visiting the club includeĀ Robert Hood who will play twice as Floorplan; Henrik Schwarz who is playing three times solo andĀ once as one-half of Schwarzmann in September ; Gregor TresherĀ on July 6th;Ā Premiesku with two separate dates; and finally the likes of Len Faki, Maya Jane Coles, CaribouĀ and DJ Harvey all playing once.

This summer, Hyte is promoting a “Yes To All” mentality of inclusion, hoping to bring together a mix of club-goers who enjoy big room techno, tech house and house alike. They will also be hosting 5 after-hours event at Cova Santa, set for June 1st, July 27th, August 10th, August 17th and September 28th. Lineups are still TBA but will likely feature artists that played Amnesia the night before. You can find the full Hyte roster below or throughĀ RA’sĀ promoter page.

Low ceilings, seductive vibes, and deep rolling grooves – Ā These are a few things that come to mind when thinking about the iconic crew that is Fuse London.Ā Over the years Fuse and their respective residents have been on a mission to deliver a sound and clubbing brand that is rivaled by few, and as we approach the end of 2015 it is safe to say they have accomplished this. From London to Ibiza, and many cities far and wide, Fuse has left their mark on the global dance circuit.

Fuse London has offered up an early holiday gift to their fans, with a signature deep tech and tech house release available for free download. Enzo Siragusa, seasoned raver and generally wizard of dance floor debauchery, is at the helm with his trackĀ Dungeons and Dragons. Per usual, there’s an emphasis on the low end and percussions, with melodic dub textures finding their way into the arrangement every so often. Fellow Fuse resident, Rich NxT, steps up with Nonot,Ā a vibe setting track well suited for the early evening attendees on the dance floor.Ā Splinter is the gift from Seb Zito, and it’s absolutely loaded with hypnotic textures, a heavily modulated bass, and body swaying percussions that sum up the Fuse vibe perfectly. The complimentary EP is rounded off with a ten minute journey of a track by none other than Archie Hamilton.Ā Ebb and Flow does just that; elements coexisting and playing off each other in a fun lighthearted way give this deep tech workout considerable value for the dance floor.

Enjoy the free downloads courtesy of Fuse, and make sure to stay connected with the label moving into the New Year.
