Detroitâs Soul Goodman makes his return to Nihil Youngâs imprint Frequenza Records out of Italy with a two-track EP titled Donât Worry About Me that is set for release on July 16th. His first release on the label charted as high as #1 on Beatport for the Deep Tech/ Minimal genre back in October of last year. This next release is set to show his versatility in the studio and growth in his productions. While previous releases have been deeper in nature, these are set out to be standout tracks for any sets.
Founded and curated by Nihil Young aka Less Hate, Frequenza is an independent Italian techno, tech house, house and electronic record label that has been operating since 2009. With releasing artists from all over the world, and a sold out showcase during Amsterdam Dance Event 2017, the label will be hosting its first showcase in Detroit during Movement weekend.
The event, presented by Frequenza in collaboration with M5 Records and Charivari Detroit, will take place May 25th at The Whiskey Disco.
2017 has seen UK artist Talal carve out a unique sonic space. Coming courtesy of King Street Sounds, âControlâ was a summer hit earning support from Maceo Plex, Adriatique and Solomun. The warm months also saw Talal headlining Cream Amnesia in Ibiza alongside Ferry Corsten and Paul Van Dyk, then subsequently showcasing his skills at La Torre alongside Rob Da Bank. Now embarking on his next musical endeavor Talal joins Frequenza Records.
Run by Nihil Young the Italian imprint has been a home to Maceo Pex and Ramon Tapia. Making his much anticipated debut on the label Talal presents his artist showcase âAndroid Dreamâ. Stylistically diverse, the seven track journey draws inspiration from the 1980âs yet sits comfortably in the present. Warm, vintage design profiles and a character rich sound highlight the collection which is sure to be a delight for even the most discerning electronic music aficionados.
