In the past several years Alignment, whose real name is Francesco Pier, has surfaced as a new name in the European techno scene.

The meaning of the name Alignment is found in the concept of inner orientation, a journey of the dark corners of one’s inner self. His music, which is defined by dark basselines, pumping kickdrums, sinister industrial noises and reverberating synths, brings his vision to life. The soundscapes of Alignment’s productions and live performances put listeners into a trance, catapulting them into a post-apocalyptic warehouse setting where the party seemingly has no end.

Bastinov is a master-craftsmen who imbues his music with melody and spirituality. After first releasing on Luca Agnelli’s Etruria Beat in 2013, his standout sound design and the richness of his synth-work has continued to catch attention from the likes of Adam Beyer, Sven VĂ€th, Len Faki and Pan-Pot.

We invite Bastinov to the Global Vibe Radio family after he recently released his debut album on Agnelli’s label. Titled All Through The Night, this is his most complete and coherent musical statement yet.

6AM Guest Mix: Deep Dimension

This week’s Guest Mix is delivered by Dutch duo Deep Dimension.

Drawing on more than two decades of solo experiences, GEN X co-founders Jeffrey Hek and Jimmy van de Geijn came together as Deep Dimension in 2015. Debuting on Rekids last year with ‘So 1992’, their signature sound is built on deep basslines and forceful kicks with regular support from Radio Slave, Sam Paganini, Luca Agnelli, Joseph Capriati and Chris Liebing.

It is safe to say they that are a one-to-watch-duo, as evidenced by their charting tracks released on labels such as Suara and Etruria Beat, on top of the aforementioned Rekids.

They now return to the Radio Slave’s respected imprint with a robust package aimed squarely at the dancefloor, the four-track EP titled Rave Slave, which is scheduled for April 26th release.

We had a chat with the duo ahead of the release and asked them to provide a guest mix exclusively for 6AM listeners.
