Time Warp Photo Gallery: Relive 2019 U.S. Edition of the German Festival

This past weekend one of the world’s biggest electronic music brands, Germany’s Time Warp, returned to the United States after a four-year hiatus.

The anticipation was worth the wait for the several thousand North American electronic music fans who poured into The Bronx in New York City for the two-night festivities organized in liaison with local promoter Teksupport. In the 25 years since Time Warp was founded in Mannheim, Germany—where it celebrated its quarter-century birthday earlier in the year—the festival has consistently set a golden standard for immersive stage production and an equally mind-blowing lineup. Throughout the years the festival has hosted the who’s who of techno, house, tech house and minimal, from heavyweight names that have shaped the history of underground electronic music across several decades, to up-and-comers and future leaders of their respective sounds.

FUSE10: A Diary Of Fuse’s 10 Year Celebration Tour in the UK

FUSE is ever evolving. Following an amazing leg of sold-out FUSE10 shows in the UK that celebrated 10 years of the brand, they head stateside to kick off the 2019 international tour where founder Enzo Siragusa will be joined by two of the collective’s core members, Archie Hamilton and Seb Zito.

Evolution has been a key player to FUSE’s success. In 2008 they sprung into the heart of London’s minimal scene as a breath of fresh air throwing pivotal weekly parties every Sunday. 10 years on, they have grown to be one of the capital’s most prominent party brands and labels and are recognized and celebrated across the UK and Europe for delivering outstanding events wherever they choose the challenge. They have championed residencies in Ibiza at Sankeys, Space and Amnesia, alongside annual events at ADE, Off Week and Sonus Festival. Now is the time to level up even further by kicking off their global 2019 FUSE10 tour in the United States.

“The 10 years of FUSE tour in the UK has been incredibly humbling and special. Witnessing the love for our party and sound and how far we have come has further fueled my inspiration to take FUSE into the next 10 years. Wherever we go we deliver stand out events with an undeniable vibe that has become synonymous with FUSE and I know we will transmit it to the clubs we have carefully chosen to make our US debut”. – Enzo Siragusa

We asked the Fuse team that toured the UK to keep a diary of their gigs through November and December of 2018, which they have now shared exclusively for 6AM readers. A celebration of 10 years of FUSE in three UK cities, and the start of their FUSE10 global tour, featuring the five core residents: Enzo Siragusa, Seb Zito, Rich NxT, Archie Hamilton and Rossko.

Win 2 Tickets to Prototype 054: Culprit with Enzo Siragusa & Droog at Lot 613

Few artists on the global House & Techno scene have had their stock rise and rise as much over the past few years as Enzo Siragusa.

The quintessential triple threat – DJ, producer, mastermind of the Fuse brand – Enzo has joined the elite artist ranks with his Resident Advisor Top 100 entry (at #36) in 2016. It had been a culmination of years building his reputation the right way – steadily, organically, from the ground up. Enzo’s roots are firmly in London’s vibrant – and competitive – underground scene. Since their beginning in 2008, his Fuse parties became an indispensable part of the city’s nightlife landscape, spawning a highly respected record label and, eventually, conquering that most challenging of party destinations, Ibiza. With resounding stamps of approval from the likes of Loco Dice, tINI and Carl Cox, Enzo has become a true marquee name.

Three months ago, his tastemaker chops were ultimately confirmed by the invitation to contribute an installment of the legendary Essential Mix series on BBC Radio One. Enzo’s consistently credible sound resides at the nexus of Deep Techno and stripped down House, avoiding the twin trappings of cheesiness and monotony blighting dance music. Enzo Siragusa is an exciting fresh talent and Culprit & Prototype are thrilled to host his LA debut on Saturday, May 20th.

We teamed up with Prototype to give away a pair of tickets to the show. To enter, simply follow the instructions in the widget below. The winner will be selected at 11am on the day of the show.

Tickets are on sale via Resident Advisor. Check out the FB event for full event information.

The Rise of Enzo Siragusa and Fuse London

It’s been 8 years since Enzo Siragusa founded Fuse, a London-based event series and record label that has now carved itself a firm spot in the worldwide techno and house movement.

His love with electronic music began much earlier than that when, twenty-years ago, Enzo began DJing for the first time. What followed was years of hard work,  and an organic approach and dedication to his craft that ultimately laid solid foundations for himself and Fuse to now be reaching the global status they find themselves in.

2016 was possibly his biggest: Fuse was voted best UK club night in the DJ Mag best of British and the event series secured a 5-date residency at the iconic Amnesia Ibiza, Enzo himself shot up 26 places in the RA Poll to number 36, he was voted one of Mixmag’s stars of the year and, to top it off, he made his debut Essential Mix on Pete Tong’s famed BBC Radio 1 show.

We are not halfway through 2017 yet and the momentum continues for Enzo and Fuse. FUSE London was nominated as one of Mixmag’s ‘Label of the Decade’ and the FUSE London events just announced their second year residency at Amnesia Ibiza this summer as part of a collaboration with HYTE.

6AM caught up with a busy Enzo as he readies to get on the road for a North American tour that will see him visit Miami, NYC, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Toronto, in Canada.

Wednesday nights at Amnesia Ibiza have been Hyte territory since last summer, when the techno-centered residency first landed on the island with bang. While in 2015 the residency was spearheaded by Loco Dice and Maceo Plex, this year the latter has left and launched his own debut Mosaic residency at Pacha Ibiza. Loco Dice will continue to head Hyte with appearances at all except three nights throughout the entire summer.

The 16-week party series will begin on June 1st with a pre-opening party before officially starting on June 29th and ending on October 5th. The roster of talent is deep, with a total of 42 artists set to perform. Others regularly playing the Wednesday night party include Chris Liebing (12 nights), Pan-Pot (11 nights) and Enzo Siragusa who is bringing his Fuse imprint to the Club room on four nights throughout the residency.

Some of the most illustrious guests visiting the club include Robert Hood who will play twice as Floorplan; Henrik Schwarz who is playing three times solo and once as one-half of Schwarzmann in September ; Gregor Tresher on July 6th; Premiesku with two separate dates; and finally the likes of Len Faki, Maya Jane Coles, Caribou and DJ Harvey all playing once.

This summer, Hyte is promoting a “Yes To All” mentality of inclusion, hoping to bring together a mix of club-goers who enjoy big room techno, tech house and house alike. They will also be hosting 5 after-hours event at Cova Santa, set for June 1st, July 27th, August 10th, August 17th and September 28th. Lineups are still TBA but will likely feature artists that played Amnesia the night before. You can find the full Hyte roster below or through RA’s promoter page.
