A lover of music in all its forms, QUENUM has an established 30-year career and has gained the respect of iconic techno pioneers as well as the following of the younger generation. When it comes to creating music or collaborating with like-minded artists, he always finds the opportunity to learn and share his passion with friends and with his audience. Overall, QUENUM is a classic DJ whose primary concern is to bring the dancefloor alive and ensure everyone leaves the club happy and fulfilled. His love for the groove was nurtured in his music-filled Afro-Caribbean home, and when the hip-hop wave first arrived in France, he went crazy for it and became one of the countryâs most skilled break-dancers, as well as the rest of his brothers.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY by way of The Bronx, Justin Schumacher is a product of 90s hip-hop and rave culture. After over a decade of hard work and dedication, he has emerged as one of NYC’s most promising talents. His production work continues to gain notoriety in the global techno community with releases and remixes on labels such as Unknown Territory, Ohn-Cet, Italo Business, Dystopian Rhythm, Illegal Alien, and many many more.
Justin Schumacherâs production work remains thought-provoking and intelligent, employing complex fills and slick programming with exceptional sonic construction while still remaining floor-focused and energetic. He applies this same passion and attention to detail in his DJ sets which can span many different moods and grooves depending on the dancefloor he is working on. His love for the music clearly shows when he performs, creating an instant connection with the crowd on the most primal and perennial level.
This week’s Guest Mix features Marcela Ospina. Born and raised in Colombia, Marcela took an interest in electronic music in the early 2000s when house and techno became popular in the country and when she was a regular at the Cinema club. But it was only in South Africa when she began DJing.

The BBC has revealed that it received complaints about DJ Tim Westwood after the organization’s Director-General previously indicated that it had not received any.
In a report published on July 4 by the BBC, it is revealed that the media company had received six complaints about alleged bullying or sexual misconduct by the former BBC Radio 1 DJ, one of which was referred to the police. It has also revealed that Westwood was spoken to regarding one of these six complaints.
A new iteration of Love Parade, Rave The Planet, went ahead in Berlin this past weekend. The event is described as a “techno-leaning parade similar to the iconic event which last went ahead some 15 years ago.”
In a new chapter for Love Parade, the Berlin-based event went through July 9 – 10 featuring 150 different DJs and several afterparties at venues across the city including Anomalie Art Club and Ost Hafen. Traveling seven kilometers across the capital, the parade kicked off in West Berlinâs KurfĂŒrstendamm to the GroĂer Stern monument in Tiergarten.
