Premiere: Cocoon’s Einzelkind Reveals New Dario Reimann LP on Pressure Traxx

Coming via Einzelkind’s Pressure Traxx label is Dario Reimann’s latest release, Dario’s Castle. His first album, and the first album on Pressure Traxx, the German producer hasn’t released a track under his own name since 2015. Dario’s Castle, however, is most definitely worth the wait.

From techno-focused tracks to more playful, synth-focused jams to intricate, slowly building numbers, the album provides an exercise in masterful restraint and the execution of top drawer vibes. Full of clever sonic sounds and funky baselines galore, it’s the sort of album that’s deserved of repeated listens: each time you sample it, sure you’re to find something new to immerse yourself in.

If you’ve been on a dance floor at all the past 10 years it’s highly probable that you’ve heard the iconic “I’ll house you” vocal sample. Einzelkind takes the original track from Jungle Brothers and turns it into a certified groover. Where the original utilized classic chord stabs, Einzelkind’s edit strips everything back relying heavily on a forceful and jackin hat groove. Between a deep saturated kick, the hats, and the iconic vocal sample you have all the ingredients for a perfect club track.
