Noha Shares His Biggest Influences

Fresh from massive releases under his Patagonia alias and another on Yoyaku’s Tartouffe label, the Rome-raised, Berlin-based Noha has been enjoying a fine time of it recently. Collaborations with Archie Hamilton as well as his prime role in the Anonymous Souls collective (alongside S.A.M, Per Hammar and Matthew Dekay) would suggest a talent making great waves — and you wouldn’t be far wrong.

Just as comfortable shifting between slick minimal tropes as he is peak-time dancefloor burners, his latest EP, ‘Europa’ really does encapsulate all that’s exciting about one of Italy’s most treasured and respected up-and-comers. Currently, in the middle of a North American tour that’s bringing him to LA and Montreal, he’s a man we’re sure you will be hearing much more from soon.

Berghain Announces Massive 2017 New Year Celebration That Will Last 3 Days

Berghain surely knows how to party for more than 48 hours, but they might have outdone themselves with 2017’s New Year celebration. The event is split into a two-part showcase with Silvester kicking things off from 1am January 1st and Erste Klubnacht (first club night) following immediately thereafter, and scheduled to go into the early morning of January 3rd at the earliest.

The Silvester lineup includes Ben Klock, DVS1, Kobosil, SkatebÄrd, Massimiliano Pagliara, Muallem, Soundstream, The Orb and many more.

BerghainNewYearThe Erste Klubnacht lineup features Answer Code Request, Boris, Gerd Jansen, Honey Dijon, Len Faki, Marcel Dettmann, Steffi, and Tama Sumo among others. To accommodate these performances, Berghain, Panorama Bar, XXX-Floor and the Elektroakustischer Salon will be open during this time for an all building event!

Queue into Berghain is expected to be lengthy and, given that it’s a New Year celebration, the entry fee is €35. If you were to leave prior to and return by the time Erste Klubnacht has already begun you will be asked for entrance payment again.

Interview: Out-ER Founders Celebrate 5 Years with Compilation Featuring Efdemin, Terrence Dixon and Juan Atkins

Founded by Simone Gatto and Andrea Santoro, Berlin-based Out-ER (Out Electronic Recordings) is in the midst of celebrating 5 years of operations with an international tour and double 12″ compilation featuring some of techno’s most notable figures and Out-ER favorites.

Available for pre-order already, the December 5th release includes works from Efdemin, Aubrey, Juan Atkins, Orlando Voorn, The Analogue Cops, Terrence Dixon, Civilian, label co-founder Simone Gatto, Haiku, Irakli and Regen. Snippets of all nine tracks forming the compilation can be heard below:
