There is no denying that Doorly is a man on the constant move. The British-born artist relocated to the States and lived in Los Angeles for years before moving back to Europe last year, where he continues pushing forward on a career that has seen him tour the world, release on labels such as Cajual, Dirtybird and Hot Creations, become an event curator and now start off his own imprint called Reptile Dysfunction.
We exchanged a few words with the busy man to discuss his love relationship with Los Angeles, the new label and the structure of his Doorly & Friends parties.

We are barely a third of the way through 2016, yet Cajual, Dirtybird and Hot Creations recording artist Doorly is having one of his strongest years to date. In February we saw him drop a strong remix of Carl Craig & Green Velvetâs âSo Whatâ, followed by the release of âWant Silverâ, a music collaboration with ZDS on This & That, Davide Squillace’s imprint.
He has kept going with a remix of Claptone âAnythingâ as well as House of Virus & Jimi Polo âBetter Days.â The coming year sees Doorly poised to release remix work for Idris Elba, Marshall Jefferson, DJ Pierre & Todd Terry and Gene Farris just to name a few.
Prior to his summer in Ibiza, Doorly will embark on a six-stop tour throughout the United States, with stops in California, Texas, New York and North Carolina. He will be accompanied by Moodymann, Andres, Native Behaviour, Tan Dem, Teddy Roosavelt, Will Forbes and a series of surprise guests yet to be announced.

After 2 and a half years at Sound Nightclub, LAâs iconic weekly party, the one & only Monday Social, has announced it will be moving a few blocks down Hollywood Blvd to Project Club LA for itâs grand re-opening next Monday January 18th.
Monday Social said farewell to their residency at Sound this week and they did it right with a special set from Doorly & friends: MK, Justin Jay and Low Steppa. The club was packed with Monday Social fans paying their tributes. Read more
Monday Social, North America’s longest weekly event, returns tonight at Sound Nightclub featuring the talented DJ/Producer DOORLY who currently holds the #1 deep house track on Beatport which was collaborated with Shadow Child. Support for the night was hand picked by Doorly himself and includes Lovelife booty boss Jon Dadon alongside Brilstein and Burn Unit.
