For Steve Bug, traveling on never ending winding roads means that it’s the journey itself that is the focus. Acclaimed producer, DJ, label owner and musical pioneer Steve Bug’s influence on the musical landscape is, at this stage in his career, well documented. With roots in Germany’s legendary club scene and fans around the world thanks to his enviable catalogue of releases, the influence of his label Poker Flat Recordings, and his famously exemplary DJ sets, Steve is a singular artist with a lucid and passionate approach to his craft.
His previous LP Paradise Sold alongside Langenberg was released in 2018 to critical acclaim. Released earlier this month, his new album Never Ending Winding Roads on Poker Flat is an entirely solo release however, with much of it produced during the months of enforced isolation due to the coronavirus pandemic. Many of the track titles reflect Steve’s headspace during this time, with themes of solitude, contemplation and reflection brought to the fore perhaps more than with any of his previous work.

Greek DJ, producer and songwriter Stoim (aka Kostas Stoimenidis) has been busy carving a name for himself on the Toronto House scene for the last 20 years, since relocating there. As a DJ, he’s graced the decks at some of Toronto’s hottest spots as well as regularly playing in the USA and Europe.

DJ Rae is one fiercely talented and dynamic artist. The singer, songwriter, DJ and producer’s skills have been growing organically since she exploded onto the house scene with ‘Can’t Stop’ with Sandy Rivera (KOT) in 2008.
Rae has gone on to work with the likes of ATFC, DJ SKT, David Penn, Doorly, Danism + Train, Just Us & Eddy, Monki, The Deepshakerz, Gene Farris, and many more, as well as releasing her own solo production. London based house duo Saison have, over the last few years, carved out a niche of their own. They have released on some of the most respected house labels in the world, including Defected, Toolroom, Large Music, Sonar Kollektiv, and Suara to name a few. In his sets he creates a mosaic, tapestry of organic and analog sounds that take the dance floor deep in and high to the sky. from the exciting melodic to the penetrating desert sounds. His understanding and respect for the classics can be witnessed in his sets, as he effortlessly weaves listeners between familiar jacking gems to off-kilter techno. With a stack for new unreleased tracks Chaim is excited to explore new immersive experiences with music.
Following critically acclaimed releases on the likes of Guy Gerber’s Rumours, Ellen Allien’s BPitch Control and Tiga’s Turbo Recordings over the past 12 months, Chaimhas just dropped drop two big remixes on Gardens of Babylon and Eleatics Records.
Before live events recently ground to a halt, Chaim was also a regular fixture at the likes of Fabric London, Circoloco, Panorama Bar and The Block in Tel Aviv, and has earned a dedicated legion of fans as a result of his captivating live sets and unique production style.
Given the opportunity to chat with Chaim recently, we decided to go deeper with our conversation, discussing his childhood, time living through the pandemic, adapting to recent changes in our world, favorite food and much more.
