Jansons returns to Circus Recordings with the infectious house anthem âMedicineâ feat. Dope Earth Alien. Following his 2019 debut on Circus Recordings with the massive âSwitchâ, Jansons quickly established himself as one of the most exciting UK producers on the scene and continues to demonstrate his ability to deliver dancefloor-focused house music. His latest track âMedicineâ is no different.
Yousef’s Circus Recordings delivered their latest Circus Selector V/A, the eighth installment in the series. Across this V/A, Yousef has brought together four up-and-coming names, including one that we at 6AM are already familiar with and recently got to interview: Alan Nieves.
From Talavera de la Reina, electronic music producer and DJ Miguel Lobo has crafted a house sound underpinned by distinctive percussive grooves. Announcing his forthcoming âMoving Facesâ LP on Yousefâs seminal imprint Circus Recordings last month with his âStay Awake/Another Dayâ EP, he now provides a second glimpse into the forthcoming album with âNo Plans / Set Me Freeâ EP.
Australian DJ/Producer Kaz James follows up a string of huge releases with his new EP Life In Purple, out on Yousefâs Circus Recordings. A huge, emotionally-charged house track, Kaz continues to set the bar incredibly high.
The past year has been busy for Kaz, with releases on some of the house musicâs most influential labels including Glasgow Underground, Nic Fanciulliâs Saved and Dennis Ferrerâs Objektivity. Alongside this, a busy touring schedule has seen him performing worldwide, having played at Brooklyn Mirage New York, Pacha Ibiza and KOKO London, whilst holding down his residency at Scorpios, Mykonos.
Title track “Life In Purple” is a smooth and melodic track, built around slowly evolving melodies and synth lines. With a propulsive groove that never lets up, itâs a rare and emotionally engaging house track that encompasses all aspects of a strong floor filler. This killer original receives further elevation with remixes from both Ben Pearce and fellow Circus affiliate, Ki Creighton. It is this last remix by Creighton which we are premiering today, as support from industry tastemakers including Radio 1âs Annie Mac, Pete Tong and Danny Howard continues to roll in.,

After the strongest summer of releases on Circus Recordings, including club hits like Nasser Baker “Say Something”, Camelphat’s “The Solution” Yousef & Bontan’s “Nasty” and the soon to be 4th Ibiza anthem in a row for the label, Junior Sanchez’s “Stronger,” label owner Yousef makes sure that the label is not only about big hits and big names.
Newcomer Luis Martinez sent his demos to Yousef on Facebook on the off chance they might be listened to. After some discussion, the label owner advised Luis his music needed a proper mix down, and then a mastering â not only to get the sound right but to see how committed a new face was to getting his music out there. Without hesitation, Luis followed the instruction and advice and made his good tracks into great tracks.
Circus boss Yousef returns once again with his Selector series, this time in itâs 6th edition we see Yousef dipping back into his record back to select tracks which have been doing it for him on the dance floor with inclusions from Ki Creighton, Luuk Van Dijk, Mant and DeMarzo.
We are delighted to be premiering Ki Creighton’s contribution to the series. The producer returns to the label after a monumental year of releases on labels like Elrow , 8bit , Lost and his own UNI imprint. Here he delivers a edgy tech house roller that utilizes a female vocal and pins it around a soundscape that will move any floor itâs delivered to.

Circular Thing originally appeared on the Selector 2 release from Circus Recordings, and like many releases from the label, went on to achieve major success on any dance floor it came in contact with. Fast forward a year and you’ll find us primed and ready for the release of the Circular Thing remix package, with power house productions from Hot Since 82, Kiki, and  German duo, Raukmakustik.
In light of the release on April 25th, we gladly share the premiere of the Raukmakustik remix which swiftly showcases the German duos talent and musical ethos. The duo eloquently pays homage to the original, but turns in a blissfully refreshing remix that we imagine sounding optimal in main room systems.

Yousef’s Circus will be making a big comeback after a two-year hiatus with two heavy-hitting events at Camp and Furnace in Liverpool. The first event is a day party that will take place on November 28, and the second event will take place the weekend after Christmas on the night of December 27. The lineup is stacked with names like Adam Beyer, Joris Voorn, Luciano, Jamie Jones, Hot Since 82, KiNK, Loco Dice, Joseph Capriati, special guest Sasha, and a continued array of dance talent of all varieties.
Yousef has made a name for himself with memorable parties from Ibiza to the US, from coast-to-coast across the Atlantic Ocean. Circus will feature a triad of unique stages: Camp, Furnace, and Haus, each with its own environment and musical flavor. The festival vibe and club vibe will grapple within the space to produce an experience unlike any other.
