Christopher Kah launches a bold new concept series under the EXIST title, featuring a stream of outstanding music from the man himself.

From December 13th on, respected and prolific producer Christopher Kah will release two new tracks every two weeks, until an undefined date in the future. As notable for his dedication to techno as he is his penchant for classical music, Kah first began composing music in his early teens and possesses over a decade of classical and jazz music experience as an organ player. An obsessive student of sound, Kah’s roots in electronic music can be traced back to an early appreciation of industrial techno — a strand of music that still greatly influences his productions to this very day.

A musician in the truest sense of the word, Christopher Kah is someone who brilliantly encapsulates all that’s great about electronic music. His might be an unconventional way of working, but it’s also one that yields results at an impressively consistent rate.

Premiere: Christopher Kah Readies to Release “Limited Resource” LP on Highwav Records

Christopher Kah of the prolific Amsterdam based HJCKD AM stable prepares his latest LP, something a little out of the ordinary based around live performance and maximalist sonic impact from a minimal set of tools.

With prior releases on Get Physical, Datapunk, Gigolo records and others his first full length was always going to be well received, but coming with such a strong concept and execution to the project is something that took time to get right.

Limited Resource at its best feels like an electronic note pad, a pad where the French producer expresses his deep and darkest musical ideas, packed with texture and feeling in an incredibly organic way. Part of the concept was this openness to bare all for people, holding no secrets back.

We are happy to be premiering “Real Unreal” from the forthcoming album, which is expected for release on the 27th of April.
