Kryss Hypnowave joins Christian Gerlach’s Lanthan.audio with Riflessione EP and presents the second release of this year. A deep homage to the deep and full sound with the refined touch of his variety.
If you’re reading this you’re likely a DJ with a home set-up of some kind, just like Lanthan.audio founder Christian Gerlach is.
After years of dealing with sub-part home set-ups, Christian decided to take matters into his own hands (literally) and build an ideal DJ booth for home use.
The goal of the Lanthan.design BOOTH is to let the diversity return to DJ homes away from the equality that has crept in recent years. With this simple but straightforward design, you can restructure your home and make the booth a new focal point in your home. The booth provides enough space for a mixer and two turntables, two turntables and one CDJ or three CDJs, leaving you free to organize your perfect working space based on your preferred set-up.
Lanthan.audio’s 13th outing is titled Styx and comes courtesy of the label boss himself, Christian Gerlach.
This four-tracker is quintessential work and fully aligns with the cerebral, deep and hypnotic soundscapes the German label is well-known for amongst listeners and peers.
Styx will be released on November 5th via the label’s Bandcamp page, but you can enjoy the exclusive premiere of “Cygni” from the EP below.
Next up for German imprint Lanthan.audio is the label’s 11th release, entitled Avior and courtesy of chief and curator Christian Gerlach himself.
Gerlach has spent an intense period exploring human architecture, as evidenced by the previous outputs on the label. Now, he dives into a new abyss, opening the far more complex and graceful chapter that is the architecture of nature. Diversity and eclectic soundscapes remain the name of the game here, as Gerlach once again showcases the full spectrum of his production prowess, all the while underscoring the true quality of his own label.
Today we premiere the third track from the EP’s A-side, “Naos.”

Lanthan.audio, the imprint founded and guided by German producer and DJ Christian Gerlach, has boasted an illustrious roster of artists so far, some of which have been tapped into to celebrate the label’s 10th release.
Exclusively for this anniversary, the label has rearranged its focus to present itself newly, as the architecture of mother nature. Lanthan.Extracts features music from Jeff Derringer, Mike Parker, Milton Bradley, Edit Select, Brendon Moeller, Deepbass, Motionen and of course Christian Gerlach himself, with a release date set to beginning of October 2017.

We had the pleasure of talking with Christian in Los Angeles earlier this year when he played his debut gig in the city, and are honored to be hosting his debut on our weekly podcast. Lanthan.audio just celebrated its 9th release with an EP outing by LA-based duo Motionen, and is gearing up for their 10th massive release â a compilation featuring several high-quality techno artists from around the globe.

The 9th release off German imprint Lanthan.audio presents the sounds of Los Angeles duo Motionen.
The audio/visual project created by founders Carlos Matamoros (a.k.a. Altrd Being) and Matt Salamone presents its solid reputations on dance floors throughout the City of Angels with growing international response and reputation.
The duo founded their own imprint, Ascetic Limited, in the last year with a very promising path already laid out in front of them. The label focuses on the driving sounds of acid, ambient, and deep techno and, since its fairly recent inception, has released strong EPs featuring tracks and remixes by the likes of Christian Gerlach, Dorian Gray, HOBI, Deepbass and Motionen themselves.
We met Lanthan.audio founder Christian Gerlach right before his Los Angeles debut for LA Structures, where he shared the bill with Developer, Ascetic Limited’s Motionen, Symtek, Sarah Strandberg and Jeremy Sena. And what a debut it was, the packed room lapping up every single second of his set, proving once more that LA’s love for techno keeps on growing and knows no boundaries.
Christian’s own releases and that of his label pack a definite punch, forming up the perfect puzzle pieces for techno journeys like the one the packed Los Angeles room got to witness that night. Christian’s relationship with Los Angeles began with his contribution to Ascetic Limited’s second EP outing, a mini-compilation that also included tracks from Dorian Gray, Deepbass and HOBI, and will continue when the LA label’s founders Motionen release on Lanthan.audio in the coming months.
We had the chance to talk to Christian following his set to find out more about his trip in California and his future plans, as his label readies for its milestone 10th release.
