Beatport to Become First Digital Music Retailer to Accept Bitcoin

Beatport is now accepting Bitcoin as payment from customers beginning in June. It’s leading the wave in this movement as it’s the first major digital music retailer to do so. They have also signed a partnership with Crypto.com to drop an expertly curated NFT titled “Music for Future Dance Floors” on April 23. Boys Noize, Charlotte de Witte, Risa Taniguchi, Sama’ Abdulhadi, Sasha and more are part of the compilation along with visual artist Leif Podhajsky.

Charlotte de Witte and Carl Cox Announce 5-Hour B2B Live Stream for Time Warp

Two of underground electronic music’s biggest and well-known acts, Carl Cox and Charlotte de Witte, are joining forces for a five-hour live stream event organized by Time Warp and set to take place on May 31st.

German event series Time Warp has been spearheading the techno sound for more than a quarter of a century, and is known for delivering cutting-edge events with impressive production and stacked lineups featuring the who’s who of Techno, House and Minimal.

Neither Carl Cox nor Charlotte de Witte are strangers to Time Warp, but the two artists have never performed together before.

The event coincides with Memorial Day Weekend in the United States, making it ideal for techno fans looking to party safely on the day if clubs and venues in their areas are still closed.
