If you’re a techno fan, then you have no doubt heard of Berghain, the infamous mecca of techno in Berlin’s thriving music scene. It’s where every up-and-coming techno or house DJ wants to play and every dance music fan wants the privilege to be allowed inside. Who are the top DJs reigning over Berghain, a venue built around exclusivity? Let’s see which DJs have been invited to play on more than one occasion at Berlin’s coveted nightclub.
One of the biggest parties at The Brooklyn Mirage last year was the Afterlife party, hosted by Tale of Us. That same party is making its return to Brooklyn and it will be returning to New York this September. The night is going to have one of the most immersive audio and visual productions to The Mirage to complement the party’s invigorating style.
The Brooklyn Mirage is a state of the art club that was recently nominated by the Winter Music Conference for the “Best Club” category. Some of the artists joining the duo this September are Chris Liebing, Ăme, Ben Klock, and Fjaak; quite a hefty line-up for any techno fan.

Â
The breathtaking, outdoor Brooklyn Mirage will provide the perfect space for Afterlife heads Tale Of Us to hold court with their uniquely transcendent techno. Scheduled in The Great Hall, Klockworks icon Ben Klock plays alongside pioneering techno artist Chris Liebing, the striking sounds of FJAAK and Courtesy, deep techno from Etapp Kyle and Vaalâs distinctive take on the style.
Plusyes and Tirador are set to curate the visuals in the Brooklyn Mirage and Great Hall respectively. Additionally, in the Brooklyn Mirage, there will be a special, interactive performance between Tale Of Us and the singular work of acclaimed, contemporary visual artist Quayola, elevating the music to another dimension.
Tale Of Us continueto push the boundaries of Afterlife with their intoxicating style, only improving the entity they have created. We look forward to seeing what’s behind the “Gate to the Unknown” come September.

From August 7th to 10th, Neopop Festival returns to Viana do Castelo to host some of the most exciting names in electronic music for an eclectic programme spanning two stages and four nights.
The festivities will once again take place just a few meters from the Atlantic Ocean in the breathtaking setting of Viana Do Castelo – the jewel of the Costa Verde. This historic location in the Minho Region of Northern Portugal is just a 30-minute drive from Porto Airport, boasting views of the Lima River and local foods that are guaranteed to make your trip unforgettable.
Ben Klockâs Klockworks invites the legendary Portuguese-born and London-based artist The Advent to join the ever-growing roster to deliver the 22nd release on the label, scheduled for this coming September. The Advent started producing his trademark raw, energetic rave-style tracks back in 1994, and since then has become a rebel and an icon in the scene. Cisco Ferreira, as he is known to friends and family, puts forward three stand-out tracks for Klockworks in this outing, one brand-new and two from The Adventâs rave archives.
In 2009, Neopop was developed after changing itâs name from Anti-pop. It is now in itâs 14th edition at the Viana Do Castelo in Portugal and takes place from August 8th to 11th. Said to be Portugalâs most respected festival, Neopop features the best in techno in the world. The festival features two stages in the coastal town with astonishing views for the Lima River.
Celebrating five years this upcoming season, Toronto’s Electric Island is going all out to celebrate a milestone that has seen the event series grow to one of the most respected techno and house brands in North America.

Sven VĂ€th –Â April 13
The German mastermind that is Papa Sven has been a long-time friend of and performer at Awakenings. Thanks to his signature vinyl-only performances, upbeat techno tracks and funky synths, heâs sure to keep the crowd dancing throughout his entire set.
Ben Klock b2b Marcel Dettmann –Â April 14
These two gentlemen have been at the top of techno lists around the world and rightfully so. Their dynamic b2b sets ooze characteristic Berghain pounding techno with thrilling twists and turns throughout, making them our standout back-to-back choice for Awakenings’ 20 Year Anniversary celebration.
Jeff Mills –Â April 15 (Day)Â
A space wizard with endless talents, Jeff Mills is one of the most well-seasoned techno producers and DJs to roam this earth. His sets are known to incorporate cosmic synths and spacial sounds, providing timeless and out-of-this-world techno inspired emotions.
Dave Clarke –Â April 15 (Night)
Another Awakenings and veteran techno producer, Dave Clarke will bring the heat with heavy drums and a signature old school sound that blends techno and electro with effortless precision. The Amsterdam-based UK producer debuted with his first release in 1990 and yet remains at the forefront of today’s underground with good reason: his penchant for quality music above all else.

Unnecessarily talented, Ricardo Villalobos is known to be the king of eclectic mixes, from spiraling sounds with deep bass to spirit-liberating techno. Movement is expanding to the promised land of Croatia, dubbed by many as the new Ibiza following recent years of festival and party expansion.
Movement Croatia is set to debut this coming July with a large roster of techno and house talent that includes the likes of Sven VÀth, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Derrick May, Octave One, Steve Rachmad, Robert Hood, Nina Kraviz, Dave Clarke and Margaret Dygas.
The Movement name has been expanding over the years, taking over the Detroit festivities in 2006 and establishing an Italian version in the northern city of Turin just over nine years ago. 2015 saw the Detroit festival touch down in Puerto Rico for a special Caribbean getaway, with the Italian version of the brand visiting Croatia for a smaller club edition last summer that now turns out was the stepping stone for the festival set to launch this July.
In the last few years, Croatia’s new-found status as a hot spot for electronic music festivities has seen the country benefit from thousands making the pilgrimage over the summer months. Movement Croatia will occur at The Garden Tisno, a 2,500 capacity outdoor venue that has also been home to Sunwave Croatia, Electric Elephant and Love International Festival.
Movement Croatia will offer three stages of indoor and outdoor beachside programming, as well as boat parties, with  a variety of accommodation options that range from air-conditioned apartments to camping and airstream trailers. Individual stages will be hosted by:
Movement Torino Music Festival
Circoloco
Lola ED vs Half Baked
ĐŻeturn powered by Solid-AM
Sunday Breakfast Zurich
