Rhys Fulber is a Canadian electronic musician and producer best known for his lengthy (and ongoing) tenure with industrial standard-bearers Front Line Assembly and ambient pop exponents Delerium (both with Bill Leeb), his solo project Conjure One, plus four recent albums released under his own name. As a producer, he has worked extensively with established metal acts such as Fear Factory and Paradise Lost, as well as the industrial hardcore act Youth Code. 6AM had a chance to ask him a few questions on the eve of the release of his latest album “Brutal Nature” on FR Recordings.
Based out of Orange County, California, J.FAY (Jonathan Fahey) is an American DJ and producer that specializes in creating the art of syncopating his rhythmic beats with melodic flair. When it comes to his tracks, his production is flowing with raw, peak, and hypnotic variations of techno, which of course, are filled to the brim with driving basslines. With his simultaneous affiliation with the labels Basse-cour and Psykometrik Records, J.FAY is keeping his time busy with non-stop creative artistry. Perc returns to Perc Trax with an EP designed to capture the energy and chaos of rave without relying on the same classic sounds that have been in constant use since the early ’90s. Greed Dance is Perc’s first full EP in 14 months. It comes after Fire In Negative (Perc Trax) released in September 2020. Since then Perc has pushed through lockdown with an intense production regime resulting in tracks being signed to Lebendig, Possession, RAW, and Rote Sonne.

Austrian producer Soundmuffel is back with a new four-track EP called Resilience. It features some melodic techno inspired by the slogan âlife doesn’t get easier or more forgiving, we get stronger and more resilient.â Driving basslines and spacey sounds complete this picture. His track “Triggering Things” goes deep under the skin. The lovely composed melody guides you through the pain from its ruthless kick and bass.
