Bandcamp Fridays Returns This Week and Every Month for 2020
Is it safe to say that Bandcamp has been the leading, and unfortunately one of the only few, music outlets really doing something beneficial for artists during this Coronavirus pandemic?
Back in March, the company launched Bandcamp Fridays, with the aim to support artists impacted by the pandemic. What they did was provide a platform and an idea that resulted in the music community responding and coming together in an unprecedented show of support, pouring more than $20 million directly into the pockets of artists and labels.
