Ballroom Records enjoyed a momentous 2018, with their many releases consistently riding high in charts around the world. The Berlin-based label ushered in 2019 courtesy of their latest V/A, Secret Ballroom Gems Vol. V. Featuring 9 different tracks, itā€™s an eclectic and diverse listen that speaks volumes of the labelā€™s shrewd approach to A&R as well as their consistently excellent release agenda.

Label bossĀ Kaiser SouzaiĀ is first up, with fellow Ballroom manĀ AlBirdĀ taking the reins courtesy of his remix of of ā€˜Kaprun Daysā€™. A truly banging and captivating cut that immediately lets us know this release means business, it gets us underway with real panache. The boys then swap roles, asĀ Kaiser SouzaiĀ turns in a remix ofĀ AlBirdā€™sĀ ā€˜Mauerseglerā€™. Although this one retains more peak-time power, this one is all about the point at whichĀ Kaiser SouzaiĀ scales matters down a notch, allowing the track to breathe before it envelops the listener in a cacophony of peak-time brilliance.

The new EP originated from a long cooperation with legendary Roland Clark, who delivers once again the vocal basement for a Kaiser Souzai track. The Voice EP comes with remixes by Patent Skillz owner DJ Lion, Stil Vor Talent’s Jiggler and Subliminal artist Junolarc.

The new Kaiser Souzai production for their imprint Ballroom Records, inspired by the travels through Asia in the recent years, caught attention of international acclaimed artists Mars Bill and Horatio, who are on both on separate remix duties.

The track has so far received support from the likes of Support from Whyt Noyz, Cristian Varela (Pornographic), Joris Voorn, Marco Carola Maceo Plex / Maetrik, Joseph Capriati, Richie Hawtin, Danny Tenaglia.
