Brennen Grey has established himself as a well-respected techno artist who pushes boundaries while honing a sound both dark yet progressive. He’s garnered respect and support for his tracks from big names like Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, Chris Liebing and Pleasurekraft. Grey also appeals to the underground artist community where many have supported his discography. His sets weave a tale of high energy, deep, driving techno. They’re equally at home at festivals heâs played like EDC Vegas, Movement Detroit, and ADE or any number of sweat-laden warehouses and clubs. Having been a great friend to the 6AM family he’s brought the energy to many of its warehouse parties. Originally from the provincial town of Pervomaisk, Russia- Roni Rix was part of the local hip hop scene. After a small musical break and a move to St. Petersburg, techno became the focal point for Roni Rix. However, he does not believe in adhering to genres but focuses on experiment, futurism and sentimentality. In 2019, he began hosting an internet radio show on Radio Record Techno, called “Line Machine”. In St. Petersburg, Roni Rix organized nightly events, both techno parties and a series of drum and bass parties. His newest EP, Angst, is now available on MĂ„inmise Records.

Vara Sky is Los Angeles-based electronic music artist Amy Swart. After going to her first rave as a teenager, she became obsessed with âhow they were making those sounds,â and began organizing underground parties with her friends. She maintained a DJ residency for several years at The Lash in DTLA playing more industrial influenced techno and is considered a stalwart of the LA underground. Amy currently hosts weekly live stream production tutorials on Twitch. Electrypnose is a music project created by Vince LeBarde in 2001. Predominantly oriented around the psytrance genre, his direction of music has taken many paths over the years. In the Summer of 2013, my team and I launched the first-ever electronic music festival on the island of Guam (called Electric Island Festival aka EIF) nearly 6,100 miles away from our headquarters in Los Angeles. We beat the odds of all the naysayers telling us we couldn’t do it and that our pipe dream was simply that… a dream.

The DJ duo understands the artist’s journey is long and bumpy. “[Just] because we donât feel creative one day, doesnât mean that we arenât creative at all,” says the Bogota-based electronic music duo. They’ve seen the dance music industry boom in the last several years throughout Colombia and share how their journey to success is a constant series of learning moments.
