Premiere: Anabatic ADE 2016 Compilation Sampler ft. Worthy, Odi Diaz, Elevator Musik, Kisch, ADMN, and Karuva.

worthy

Every year, the Amsterdam Music Festival attracts over 365,000 goers from all over the world to celebrate electronic dance music’s freshest talent across a number of sub-genres.

Among the artists this year will be those represented by Anabatic Records, the leading bass music indie label founded by DJ/producer Worthy. In preparation, they released a Sampler EP to amass their hype before the big event: featured are Worthy himself, along with Odi Diaz, Elevator Musik, Kisch, ADMN, and Karuva.

“Anabatic” refers to “the powerful winds that move up a mountain,” — and at this year’s Amsterdam Music Festival, the label’s fierce gusts will not just move up mountains, but based on this sampler will move the mountains themselves. During the event their music will fill the night’s unforgettable hours. The collection of original mixes perfectly demonstrates why the Anabatic label will dominate the dance floor. Their thoroughly unique bass productions never relent on their movement, beats spilling with rapidity amidst a complex spectrum of eclectic sounds.

Maceo Plex Will Perform Special ADE Set At Amsterdam’s Rijksmuseum

Maceo Plex Rijksmuseum

Rembrandt, Vermeer, Vincent van Gogh and… Maceo Plex. For one night only, the Barcelona-based producer and DJ will be joining some of the greatest painters and sculptors in history when he performs atAmsterdam’s Rijksmuseum.

Set to take place next week on the 21st of October, this will be the first event of its kind for Rijksmuseum, who has previously never collaborated with an electronic music artist in its long rich history. The high-profile ADE gig will take place at the museum’s bike passage, matching the venue’s vision of elaborating new exciting ways to allow visitors to experience the art contained within its walls.

Rijksmuseum is famous world over as being the home of some of the greatest works of art from the Dutch Golden Age, but also boasts an important and large collection of music instruments as well as various paintings depicting scenes of music. Testament to that, is the fact that Eric Estornel, known to his fans as Maceo Plex, visited the museum personally where he listened to unique recordings from its collection of classical instruments as a source of inspiration.

Although the event is free of charge, groups of 2-4 will need to register before the 12am deadline of October 18th.

All facets of global dance and electronic music culture will unite for the world’s largest club festival in October 2016. The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) will take place this year from the 19th to the 23rd of October with an expected 375,000 national and international visitors for its 21st edition.

ADE has continued to grow over the years morphing into the leading platform for the international dance scene. In 2015 alone, the festival featured 2289 artists playing in 100 venues over and for a large number of separate club night events, and a total of 500 speakers taking part in nine different conference streams. 2016 is poised to see festival organizers expand operations, including its extensive film, art, and audiovisual program and the number of day and nighttime activities.

“ADE has developed into a platform where every aspect of the global phenomenon that is dance music culture comes together. It is fantastic to see that Amsterdam has become a global destination for both music lovers and the music industry,” says ADE Director Richard Zijlma.
