Time Warp Photo Gallery: Relive 2019 U.S. Edition of the German Festival

This past weekend one of the world’s biggest electronic music brands, Germany’s Time Warp, returned to the United States after a four-year hiatus.

Movement Detroit Announces Saturday Lineup with LSD, Amelie Lens, Josh Wink, Octave One and More

Paxahau and Movement Electronic Music Festival are taking a different approach to their lineup announcement this year.

In the fall of 2018 they went live with a lineup teaser, revealing the first 10 names scheduled to play the yearly appointment at Hart Plaza on the bank of the Detroit River. Amelie Lens, DJ Nobu, Heiko Laux, DJ Bone, Hot Since 82, Floorplan, Orbital and Stephan Bodzin were all announced then, showcasing the diversity that Movement has been known to bring.

Today, they announced their full Saturday lineup, featuring LSD (Luke Slater, Steve Bicknell and Function), Amelie Lens, Carl Craig, Disclosure, Loco Dice, Maya Jane Coles, Octave One, Seth Troxler, Soul Clap, Stacey Pullen and more.

Movement Detroit Teases 2019 Lineup With First 10 Names

The yearly pilgrimage to Detroit is on the horizon, even though there are a good six months left until the next Memorial Day Weekend 2019.

Paxahau, the organizers behind Movement Electronic Music Festival, have just teased the first 10 names booked for next year’s festival. The preview lineup includes everything from Detroit techno to hip-hop, as well as legendary UK dance music pioneers Orbital performing their first live show in Detroit in 20 years.

Attendees in 2019 will be able to feast on DJ sets from Amelie Lens, DJ Nobu, Heiko Laux, DJ Bone and Hot Since 82. Floorplan, Orbital and Stephan Bodzin are booked in for live sets, along with a turn from Detroit rapper (and Warp signee) Danny Brown.
