Spektre are a longstanding duo of techno artists that need little introduction to fans of the genre, as they are well respected for their pounding tracks and DJ sets.
Traveling internationally to perform headline DJ sets at major clubs and festivals, their music can also be heard on scene leading record labels such as Filth on Acid, Kraftek and their own Respekt Recordings.
Their latest release is a three-track EP on Respekt Recordings titled ‘Bring Me Fire’ which mixes thick synth sounds and heavy percussion that combine to deliver timeless grooves that are set to do damage on the dance floor.
“The Unseen Path” opens the release with a captivating female vocal sample that’s layered with rattling high-end percussion and fluttering chords from the powerful lead synth. “Bring Me Fire” is next on the release, and its title comes from the uplifting lyrics of the breakdown’s vocal, which is layered with pulsating synths and thumping drums. “Suspended in a Sunbeam” switches up the vibe with its thickset bassline, piano chords, pitched vocals and breakbeat rhythms to create the perfect end of the night track.
