Oslated‘s 8th regular album comes courtesy of Sanjib and is entitled Distant Communion EP [OSL008]. The EP will be released on April, 29th, and included Shaded Explorer, Abismal, Romi, Saphileaum, Nigm and Javier Marimon Remixes.
Distant Communio” EP is inspired by a distant relationship and focused on mysterious and melancholic feel on this way. Voices remember us a presence, and tracks show us musically the extension of a relation, with sincerity and energy of spirit.
Since 2015, French techno producer Jibis reveals another facet of his talent with Sanjib, a side-project dedicated to putting forward music of listening, of travel… an almost spiritual project, seeking to open our senses, to make us feel the music differently.
After many EPs released on Lett Records, Warok Music and the Korean label Oslated, Sanjib published his first long-format production From Earth to Heaven in 2018. Receiving many enthusiastic messages, the 11 tracks follow a guideline in a mixed version of one hour.
On stage, his live performances contain tracks of his discography, adapted and mixed with new creations. Surrounded by a few machines and also decks that he uses as a sampler, Sanjib takes us into a full world of authenticity between ‘Ambient’ and ‘Dub-Techno’.
Today we premiere Romi’s remix on the forthcoming EP, which you will be able to find on Oslated’s Bandcamp page on April 29th.
