DECOQ delivers a perfectly-executed two-punch techno EP on JourneyDeep Black, including a track featuring FMS.
JourneyDeep (a.k.a Josh Powelson) is widely regarded for his deep and euphoric view of house and techno. Native of Central Illinois, he became acquainted with Chicago’s underground rave scene fresh out of his teens. Navigating in and out of dark warehouses and obscure nightclubs, he got a taste for early Chicago house and techno which is evident in his sets today. He owns and operates two record labels (JourneyDeep Records, and JourneyDeep Black), and ‘Evolve’ was #1 on XLR8R mag’s Best of 2018.
With this latest release, he showcases the deeper and darker offering of the JourneyDeep label family.
