Congratulations on the EP release. Can you tell us a little about the inspiration in the studio behind these tracks?
For this EP it was the same as for the other track or EPs I have previously made. I just jumped into my studio and tried different things, played with my hardware a bit to see what would come up…
Where were these produced and what software/hardware did you use?
I produce my music at my own studio, and for those tracks I used Ableton Live and Reason software.
As far as hardware gear I picked TR- 09, TB-03, Analog 4, Analog keys, Blofield, Digitak and Analog heat.
You’re Italian but your career has really taken off after moving from the country you and I both share. Do you think there’s a reason for that?
No, I don’t think there is any reason. I think it was just me, I really like to go around and visit different cities and I found London to be the perfect place for me at that time. I developed my career and I think it would be the same if I was still in Italy.
Do you still feel Italian or do you feel like you’ve been influenced more by the other countries you’ve lived in?
Oh no I didn’t get any influences from any other country. I still have my Italian accent when I talk (laughs)
You’ve played quite a few exciting gigs this year, sharing the stage with some fantastic artists. What’s been your highlight of 2018?
Yes, I’ve been to so many places in the last years for sure. The Colombia tour was really good! Nice vibes! Last year I also played in London at E1 for the 27h party on NYE and NYD and it was really incredible!
What are the venues you go to London when you’re not playing?
I like to go where there is a good party and good DJs I want to hear so there aren’t any particular venues, but I have to say most of the time I go to E1, it’s the best warehouse in London for me at the moment!
If there’s a venue you’d like to still play anywhere in the world, what would it be?
There is not a particular venue I would like to play at. For me, any venue is good if is set up in a professional way and people are having a good time so I enjoy the music and the atmosphere with them.
What’s the best food spot in London?
London is a multicultural city so you can find all types of food here. I don’t have any special food I like, but mostly my favorite is Italian!
What are some goals you have set yourself in this industry for the coming years?
I would like to continue my career the way I did the last few years and try to make stuff for new and old people I admire. I would like to travel around the world with my music too.
