We had a chat with producer/DJ JC Laurent about his native city of Nice, France.
He talks us through his favorite clubs, record stores and places to relax. See what he had to say below.

Itâs certainly one of the clubs that participate most actively in the sound quality of nights in Nice. I’ve been a resident since the opening in September 2016 and got the chance to share the decks with some big names like Francois X, Anetha, Dax J, Amelie Lens, Antigone, ShlĂžmo, Headless Horseman, SNTS, Sam Paganini and many more.

âLe 109â is positioned as an essential interface to the contemporary creation in the local, national and international cultural landscape, by a coordination work of the actions carried out by the protagonists of the site but especially by a rich, diverse and ambitious program within it turned towards different typologies of cultural, artistic and societal issues of our time. I played there last year for Crossover Festival with artists like Bjarki, Charlotte De Witte, Dj AZF and many more.
Address: 89 Route de Turin, 06300 Nice

Opened in May 2016, this intimate record shop has a selection of discs in style ranging from house to techno through hip-hop, rock, alternative, or new wave and jazz. The boss is very nice and sets good prices.
Address: 25 rue Tonduti de l’EscarĂšne, 06000 Nice

You are at almost 900m high and you can oversee the whole city. It’s definitely one of the best places to chill with friends. Only a few kilometers from Nice, Mont Chauve offers a magnificent view towards the South: Nice, Baie des Anges, Saint Jean Cap Ferrat and the Lerins Islands (Cannes) but also to the North with the Alps and Mercantour.

The ideal place to experience a moment of pure relaxation. Located on the roof of Meridienâs hotel, the Terrasse offers breathtaking views of the Baie des Anges with a selection of original cocktails to discover.
