Jansons returns to Circus Recordings with the infectious house anthem āMedicineā feat. Dope Earth Alien. Following his 2019 debut on Circus Recordings with the massive āSwitchā, Jansons quickly established himself as one of the most exciting UK producers on the scene and continues to demonstrate his ability to deliver dancefloor-focused house music. His latest track āMedicineā is no different.
Accompanying Jansons on āMedicineā are the vocals of familiar collaborator and Toronto-based singer-songwriter, Dope Earth Alien. With her signature sound echoing over the track, she layers fun vocal lines over Jansons bass and percussion-laden production.
Following up one of the standout tracks of 2019, āSwitchā dominated the dancefloors of clubs and was a regular feature in the record bags of artists such as Marco Carola and Honey Dijon, as well as receiving a number of spins from Annie Mac and Danny Howard on BBC Radio 1ās Dance Music shows.

On top of giving us the honor of premiering “Medicine,” Jansons also shared his current top ten tracks:
I used to play this record on repeat! The stripped-back moody vibe and the chuggy feel of the drums are wicked. Peace Divisionās style has had a big influence on me and my productions.
All Circulation records are good examples of quality House music ā Iāve drawn inspiration from lots of them. Love the hooky sample and pace of White.
Iāve spent many hours listening The Chemical Brothers. Galvanize was one of my inspirations for Medicine.
Shonky has put out consistently good House with a classic feel. I loved his older stuff and I used to play this track loads!
I remember hearing Seth Troxler drop this for the first time and the bass sounded so big! I love the off-key feel of the vocal. This was part inspo for Less Ordinary.
Iām a big fan of Synthwave and this vocal is class. Iām working on similar projects at the moment.
Iāve listened to Jurassic 5 so many times! āQuality Controlā is a wicked album. Love the sampling, the MCs and the rhythms ā itās my favourite type of Hip hop and has a big influence on my Hip house stuff.
Love a bit of Filter house and the filter doesnāt get juicier than this. A classic and always smashes the dance floor!
This is one of my all-time favourite records. The synths on this track are awesome. I had to get the OB-6 after hearing Sasha had used the Oberhiem Xpander synth on the record.
Proper House music. All Kerriās records are top draw and his drums have set a benchmark for my own, especially the 909s.
