Discogs has recently opened its Gearogs online marketplace with the site’s beta launch.
This is a major development for Discogs which, until then, was justĀ a databaseĀ of audio equipment. Now buyers can shop for synthesizers, DJ mixers, drum machines, tape machines and more with a vastly improved experience.
Moreover, sellers can also list goods for sale on the Gearogs site.
The Gearogs launch marked the realization of the plan bared by Discogs CEO Kevin Lewandowski in an interviewĀ last month, where he discussed the intention to launch an online marketplace for equipment in the same vein as that of the successful Discogs marketplace
