Frank Spector aka IMPLSE is a DJ/Producer based in Paris. With roots in Hip-Hop, his label Get Large Recordz, he has produced tracks for heavy hitters in the US like Nicki Minaj, Mobb Deep, Freeway and Wu-Tang.
But he is and always has been a techno degenerate! He began DJing from the age of 16 for Cannes Radio Show. A phrase he often likes to repeat is “You wouldn’t find this tribal, almost primal energy, anywhere else but in techno.”
His productions reflect this mentality and the last two EPs (under the name IMPLSE). “Prophesy” and “I Know What You Did last Night” were well-received, charting #2, #5 and #16 on Beatport 100. He is now back under his original name Frank Spector and proudly presents “Mr. Lüvely”, his debut EP!
