Fehrplay: The 5 Hottest Records in My Bag

Never one to talk down his Norwegian roots, the life and times of Jonas Fehr have not been limited to one global locality. Known world-over as Fehrplay, the producer and DJ has been influenced by his years spent studying in the dance music mecca that is Manchester, England, as well as his years spent globe-trotting whilst introducing the world to his ever-evolving musical sounds.

A purveyor of progressive house in its finest form, Fehrplay has enjoyed the support of one of the genre’s most respected acts in Eric Prydz, earning a spot on Pryda Friends’ buoyant roster of talent with full merit. Jonas hasn’t stopped there though, continuing to push his music to new boundaries both in the studio and on tour, constantly pushing the envelope of progressive house to new limits.

We caught up with the talented artist to find out what his current 5 favorite tracks are. Enjoy them below!

Kolsch – “Push”

It just feels really fresh, and the breakdown chords are hauntingly good!

Jeremy Olander – “Billinghurst”

Beautiful uplifting progressive melodies

Stereocalypse – “Arboria”

Such a nice atmosphere in this one.

Thomas Schumacher – “Unconfused”

Acid Techno! And that breakdown, wow!

Dusky – “Ingrid is a hybrid”

Not a new one, but I love it, and I have been ending my sets with this a lot lately.
