Since starting his career creating acid house music in the late 80s, and partnering with with John Digweed in 93, what’s also added to his list of prominence was creating his own labels such as Global Underground, Kinetic Records, Excession, Ultra Records, Renaissance, Freestyle Dust, emFire, Deconstruction, Circus Recordings, and Last Night on Earth.

Voted No. 1 in DJ Magazine. Since growing the acid house scene in Hastings, England, John Digweed still has maintained his prominence in underground dance culture to this day. What is also definite, is that John’s creativity is one without limits — even his own label Bedrock Records is an amalgamation of three concepts: a label, promotions company, and a studio production; all which he shares with business partner and friend Nick Muir. John’s projects have also earned him recognition from television — BedRock Records produced the soundtrack for the 2003 MTV adult super-hero drama ‘Spider-Man: The New Animated Series’, his music was featured in the movie adaption ‘Irvine Welsh’s Ecstasy’, and John even made a cameo of himself playing in Greg Harrison’s 2000 movie ‘Groove’.
