With the 2015 release of Stems, a new audio file format by Native Instruments, the digital DJ game has started to change drastically. To celebrate the first anniversary of this revolutionary new format, Native Instruments will be hosting a special giveaway event – a mix competition, co-hosted by Mixcloud. To enter, you must record a 30-minute mix (using TRAKTOR, of course), upload it to Mixcloud, and add the tag #PLAYSTEMS. Three lucky winners, hand-picked by house and techno legend Carl Cox, will be selected to win – the first, second and third place prizes are: (1) e-voucher worth $2000 toward gear via NI’s online shop, (2) a TRAKTOR KONTROL S8 DJ system, and (3) a TRAKTOR KONTROL S4 DJ system.
