It is our pleasure to present this week’s Global Vibe Radio mix, featuring Italian DJ/producer and label boss Ness.
Andrea Deplano, aka as Ness, is a DJ and producer born and raised on the island of Sardinia, acknowledged for his signature style, with a background spanning over a decade of music production, sound engineering and many years of research and fine-tuning. Through his growth as an artist, he has gradually developed a distinct technique with a strong focus on atmosphere combined with hypnotic rhythms.
Alongside fellow Italian Claudio PRC, Deplano forms The Gods Planet. While they’re standalone solo acts respected throughout the world, together they form the perfect encapsulation of the modern Italian techno sound, described by our friends at MNMT as “deep, emotional, and futuristic” with listeners “drawn in by lush atmospheres and grounded by a steady beat.”
Having performed in some of the most relevant clubs and festivals around the globe, he steadily releases music and collaborates with several renowned techno labels within the scene, including M_Rec Ltd., Affin, and Prologue, just to name a few. With experience as label manager through the years with partnership on Mono Records and The Gods Planet, in 2018 he established his spin-off project label called Ness Reworks.
His music and DJ sets are respected throughout the world of underground techno, widely defined as a top-tier exploration of wide range of deep hypnotic techno and ambient, atmospheric soundscapes.
