
Iberian producer/DJ PWCCA unleashes “Demons“ EP on Koryu Budo Records.
Coming from Madrid, this veteran producer has been releasing under diverse aliases since a long time and has been in the tracklists of the most innovative DJs around on a constant basis.
“Ningyo”
A fish-like sea monster which brings storms and misfortune.
Fisherman who caught these creatures were said to throw them back into the sea.
“Kasha”
A monster that steals the corpses of those who have died as a result of evil deeds. They are also believed to carry the damned in a cart to hell.
“Joro-gumo”
A spider ghost which can shapeshift into a beautiful woman. They possess a cunning intelligence and a cold heart, and see humans as nothing more than insects upon which to feed. They are skilful deceivers and powerful shapeshifters.
More About PWCCA
PWCCA aka Dr Cyanide, born in Madrid on April 26, 1979.
He started in the world of electronic music in 1995, he took his first contact with some records in a pub located in his area, driven by a friend who worked there. Firstly, he played progressive and house sounds, but it didn’t take long for him to opt for more underground trends, influenced by large techno producers such as James Ruskin, Richard Polson, Christian Wünsch, Portion reform, Regis and Surgeon, among others.
In 1996 he began to produce electronic music using software and hardware, creating his first beats with a Roland TR 606 and software for rhythms called “Hammer.” In 1998 he was selected from over 600 applicants to represent Madrid in the first national championship of amateur DJs organized by the magazine Deejay, held at the legendary venue Disco 8 Barcelona, ending fifth.
From that year until 2000, he worked as a DJ in various clubs around the city, also gaining experience as a producer in his home studio. His experience and knowledge has grown since, launching his own record label, called Hardtools, playing several festivals of great significance, as well as many raves organized in the community of Madrid.
Since, he has releases on Aine (Pole Group), Warm Up Recordings, Injected Poison, Newrhythmic, Kobayashi, Donkeyhead, Blackstars corporation, Granulart recordings, MFM, Revolt, Anaoh, Dolma rec, Devotion, Vector Functions, Human recs, Vapourtrail, Subsequent records, Mephyst, Mental records, We call it hard, Luminar records, Recoil, Spectralband, DKN Selections, Concepto hipnotico, Advanced, Armed, Induxtriall records and Konkrezept among others.
