A regular face amongst the circuit in the USA and widely respected by his peers, Elon shares his favorite NYC record digging spots.
Nohaâs PanickPanick imprint has cemented itself as a vital label for revered diggers and tastemakers for some time now, and notably one of the finest releases in recent years, Patagonia’s Chi ci Pensa. Returning for his second outing on the label at the end of February is NYC based ReSolute affiliate, Elon with his Another Brick EP. A talented producer in the game for well over a decade.
It is no secret regarding label founder Noha and Elonâs friendship, seeming somewhat aligned with their sounds and output. Elonâs last delivery on the label came in 2018 entitled âStonerâ, it is evident why they called him back again. Recent years have also seen the New Yorker release on the likes of ReSolute on several occasions and the famous Get Physical outlet.
Elon is a DJ’s DJ, a craft track selector with a penchant for unusual, hard-to-find gems. Recently, he shared his favorite NYC recording digging spots, but then the Coronavirus pandemic took hold of all our lives, and especially so in the hard-hit State of New York.
“Although we would love be able to visit these spots over the coming period, circumstances say otherwise, so we can spend even more of our time on Discogs where I am frequently searching for records all year round” – Elon
With a hopeful mindset that we will get back to normal life soon, and that such normal life will include record shopping, enjoy Elon’s favorite NYC recording digging spots below:

Amazing local record shop in Bushwick, great place to dig around for old and new music from pretty much any genre!
Lovely stuff and enough listening stations, good prices, go dig!!

Great store, mainly focusing on electronic music, but you will be able to find some jazz, hip hop and other genres.. recently moved to Etiquette, which is a massive cafe/restaurant with a super chill vibe.
They have showcases, broadcasting and events on occasion Check it out!
