Det. Kathleen Prieto stated that a woman pulled an X-Acto knife on another woman, stabbing her in the arms and neck before being detained by the police. Prieto also confirmed that the injuries were “non life-threatening”, and that the victim is in stable condition.
Miami artist, Naomi Fisher, was present during the stabbing, indicating that the conflict took place near the exhibit titled “The Swamp of Sagittarius” near booth N29 of the show.
In addition to the art showcases such as these, Art Basel also hosted house and techno showcases with the likes of Jamie XX, Four Tet, Tale of Us, Richie Hawtin, and many more.
