This week’s 6AM Guest Mix is supplied by Solamente label owner Sharpson, recorded from his home studio in Dublin, Ireland. For this mix, he blends a variety of techno and breaks with a constant acid bassline throughout.

Having grown up on the likes of The Prodigy, Underworld, and The Chemical Brothers, Sharpson’s unique sound is a blend of U.K. ’90s Rave music, ranging from Acid, Breakbeat, House, Techno and Drum & Bass. Sharpson began DJing and producing at the young age of 14 years-old. He has garnered a name for himself through his diverse range of music productions and selections, as well as his signature sound of integrating so-called ‘Dublin mannerisms’ into his tracks.
His music has been released on labels including Dirtybird, Snatch! Records, Solamente and many more. Taking note of Sharpson’s high-quality productions, powerhouse DJs Deborah De Luca, Rebuke, Xenia, BKLAVA, DJ Gigola have all supported the rising star. His music has also been featured on platforms such as SiriusXFM, Ministry of Sound, Rinse FM and more.
Not only is Sharpson recognized for his variety of musical projects, but also his energetic live show. His DJ sets on Youtube have accumulated thousands of views due to his unique style of playing with the decks backwards. With support far and wide, Sharpson is one unique talent to watch.
