Next in line on Serialism Records’ digital platform DX is a very special EP by Japanese talent and Sound of Vast co-owner, Red pig flower.
Red pig flower doesn’t have boundaries when she creates but her sound always tends to be hypnotic, dreamy with a mysterious vibe as she believes club music should give the audience a sound experience that will make that specific moment an unforgettable one.
In fact, she always wanted to expand her horizons not only as a producer but also as a storyteller throughout theatrical representations and mind-blowing installations.
Mouse Trap EP expresses these ambitions perfectly, where she tells 4 different dark fairy tales collaborating with singers Susanah and Lilly, both of whom drag people into a tunnel with their almost ominous voices.
The remix of the EP title track comes from label co-owner and pioneer Quenum, who adds a mature spice into the EP to complete a masterpiece of coloured and quirky tones.
