Walking into Bud Light Sensation Innerspace, I wasnt sure what to expect. I knew the parties were famous around the world, but Quebec City hasnt seen anything like this before. Right away, I was blown away. The production put into the newly launched Videotron Centre was mind-blowing.

A white lotus rotating DJ stage was the focal point, with cascading water, white moving balloons, and a dance floor of people dressed in white to compliment the scene. The all-white dress code is encouraged to bring about a celebration life and add a community feel to the event. While its easy to lose your friends among the sea of white, its also easy to lose yourself in the crowd and really enjoy the experience.

actThe first DJ up was Mr. White. As Bud Light Sensations resident DJ, he has a lot to offer. Mr. White set the vibe perfectly with a progressive set as festival-goers slowly began to warm up and start dancing. Newcomers, East & Young put together a talented set, with track after track getting better and better as the momentum built to the headliners.

By the time Nicky Romero came on, everyone was fully amped and excited to see him. He played crowd favourites and had the everyone belting out the words to Like Home ft. Nervo. He even slowed things down and brought out a vocalist for Florence and The Machines You Got The Love. The vocals were enchanting and haunting at the same time, giving an acoustic feel and water falling on all sides of her as everyone stopped to catch their breath.

The moment didnt last long, however, because soon enough Chuckie was on with his Dirty Dutch style that had the crowd going absolutely crazy. People were jumping, cheering, and loving Chuckies entire set. The thumping bass blasted through the stadium and it was impossible to stand still, even when ordering another beer.

DJ Snake provided a nice change in tempo, with his newest (and super popular) track, Lean On with Major Lazor. He played a bunch of really cool remixes and it was a good chance to practise some twerking, if thats your type of thing. Lastly, MOTi finished the night off with another upbeat set which left the crowd begging for more towards the end.

Bud Light Sensation was definitely an experience and a one-of-a-kind festival. Whatever they have in store for next year, Ill be first in line to grab a ticket dressed in white.
